Headlines of interest for May and early June 2018 [updated]…
The month began with a dread of immanent Armageddon; and while things for the most part seem to be careening in this direction, May came and went without the horrid climax. Our summary takes the form of a timeline [which we will fill out as we catch up] of these events in the various arenas of war and sabre rattling (but also of a hopeful peace in the Korean peninsula)…
Times of Israel – Israel postpones Alaska test of Arrow 3 missile interceptor
We noted last month – with the first bombings following the Ghouta chemical attack – at the hints of Israeli false flags to be pinned on the U.S. Was it so later in the month?…
If Netanyahu manages to entangle the U.S. into his war with Iran, he will do so recruiting many young American Christians who believe that support of Israel is in conformity to God’s will; yet they are blithely ignorant of how their coreligionists are treated in the Holy City…

“There is only one thing that isn’t clear,” one of the people closest to Netanyahu told Al-Monitor, speaking on the condition of anonymity. “That is, who works for whom? Does Netanyahu work for Trump, or is President Trump at the service of Netanyahu?”
The latter, of course, as is the case with the Israel-firsters of the U.S. Congress…

American Spectator (George Neumayr) – John Brennan’s Plot to Infiltrate the Trump Campaign
Subtitle: The roots of Obamagate become clearer. Indeed, but allow us to crow for a moment in citing our June 2011 article at Wxxx News, Compromised at Birth, part II, which identified the business relationship that John Brennan – a previous CEO of the Analysis Corporation and not yet Director of CIA – had had with the British defense company Global Strategies Group, of which the Analysis Corporation was a subsidiary. More details of the parent company, GLOBAL, concerning the potential conflicts of interest as relates to the securing of U.S. intelligence are in this Feb. 6 2013 article, on the eve of Brennan’s confirmation as DCI…
It is noted that Analysis contracted with the State department, Defense Intelligence Agency, and FBI, but CNBC fails to mention a breach which occurred in the passport offices at State in the early presidential primaries of 2008, when a trusted employee of Analysis compromised candidate Barack Obama’s passport records – records that would potentially answer certain questions of Obama’s citizenship and eligibility for the office of POTUS. One of the questions which has been raised is whether Obama was born a British subject (inasmuch as his father’s native Kenya was still a British colony at the time). Was the answer ascertained through this breach? And did Brennan, and by extension, his boss Damien Perl at GLOBAL, become aware of it? As such, consider then that the roots of “Obamagate” – particularly as concerns British collusion and meddling in U.S. elections – extend much deeper, not just to 2016 but to 2008 as well, with Brennan in the center of both.
The timing of the British meddling in 2016 is of interest, however, in as much as it came quickly on the heels of Trump’s sealing the delegate count for the nomination with the defeat of Ted Cruz in Indiana. See our May 3, 2016 edition for the curious circumstances surrounding his victory.
The Hill (John Solomon) – London ‘bridges’ falling down: Curious origins of FBI’s Trump-Russia probe
According to documents and government interviews, one of the FBI’s most senior counterintelligence agents visited London the first week of May 2016. Congress never got the FBI to explain that trip — but, soon after it, one of the most consequential moments of the scandal occurred: On May 10, Australian diplomat Alexander Downer met in a London bar with Trump adviser George Papadopoulos, who boasted of knowing that Russia would release dirt on Clinton.

Unhappy with the popularity on MSNBC and CNN of Michael Avenatti, the attorney for porn actress Stormy Daniels, Donald Trump appointed former New York mayor and notorious cross-dresser Rudy Giuliani as his personal attorney to represent him on television. During the Reagan administration, Giuliani earned his prosecutor chops as U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York (SDNY) going after organized crime. Much of the evidence acquired by Giuliani against New York’s five La Cosa Nostra crime families — the Bonnanos, Genoveses, Luccheses, Gambinos, and Colombos — was gathered through the use of court-approved wiretaps.
Using the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act, Giuliani ordered wiretaps placed on money laundering and other criminal operations at mob-owned pizza parlors in New York, Italian social clubs like the Palma Boys Social Club and the Wimpy Boys Social Club, labor unions, and construction contractors. The mafia-run “Concrete Club” was an extortion racket involving Gambino boss Paul Castellano and other mobsters getting a piece of the action on cement transactions for construction projects in Manhattan in return for “peace” from mob-controlled unions. One of those who agreed to pay the Concrete Club was Donald Trump.
In 1985, Giuliani got indictments against Bonanno family boss Phil Rastelli, Colombo boss Carmine Persico, Gambino boss Castellano, Genovese boss Anthony Salerno, and Lucchese boss Anthony Corallo. Their chief lieutenants were also indicted. Shortly after his indictment, Castellano was gunned down outside Sparks Steakhouse in Manhattan. Giuliani’s strategy was to prosecute all five families as a single entity, and it worked.
In the end, Giuliani managed to curb the influence of the five families, only to hand over New York’s criminal operations to another mob, the Russian-Jewish mob based in Brooklyn. The “Kosher Nostra,” as it is known to members of the New York Police Department and FBI, saw its ranks increased as the Reagan administration pressed the Soviet Union to allow more and more Soviet Jews to emigrate, not to Israel, as was demanded, but to Brooklyn. Giuliani and his lieutenants were not so interested in prosecuting the identifiable Jewish crime families that were moving in to take control of the bookmaking, construction, taxi and limousine, prostitution, murder-for-hire, loan sharking, gambling, art theft, narcotics, “protection insurance,” cigarette smuggling, and other rackets from La Cosa Nostra.
It was the massive influx of Soviet Jewry that resulted in the politically-powerful organized crime elements that now pervade the Trump administration. And it was Giuliani, who, by aggressively prosecuting his fellow Italians, permitted Soviet Jewish emigrés to take over all the New York rackets previously controlled by La Cosa Nostra. Out of this milieu came Trump’s personal attorney, Michael D. Cohen, Trump business associate Felix Sater, and Cohen associates Semyon Shtayner, Boris Nayfeld, Vadim Finkelchtein, and father-in-law Fima Shusterman.
Castellano’s replacement as head of the Gambino family, John Gotti, understood what Giuliani was doing. Gotti saw that the five families were losing out to other families who had recently arrived in Brooklyn and were being handed control of the New York rackets by none other than Giuliani and his three assistant U.S. Attorneys: John Savarese, now a partner with the New York law firm of Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz; J. Gilmore Childers, who later prosecuted the 1993 bombers of the World Trade Center and eventually joined Goldman Sachs; and the most problematic of all, Michael Chertoff, who was long suspected of acquiescence to and outright connivance in the interests of Israeli and Russian organized crime/intelligence interests in New York, New Jersey, Philadelphia, and Washington, DC.
On September 17, 1987, the heads of the five La Cosa Nostra families held a summit in New York. They discussed ways to deal with Giuliani. Gotti and Persico favored a hit on Giuliani. The bosses of the Lucchese, Bonnano, and Genovese families rejected the proposal. Had one of the three no votes gone over to Gotti and Persico, Giuliani would have never become the so-called “America’s mayor,” a moniker he earned after the 9/11 attack. Nor would Giuliani have ever had a chance to become Trump’s TV lawyer. In fact, had Gotti’s and Persico’s idea been accepted by the other three crime bosses, it is doubtful that Trump would have ever benefited from being bailed out of severe debt by “loans” from the Kosher Nostra and some of the newly-enriched Russian Jewish oligarchs. These oligarchs, who are now the focus of Mueller’s investigation, had looted the Soviet and Russian treasuries of their wealth.
There is some speculation among knowledgeable New Yorkers that had Gotti remained the top La Cosa Nostra crime boss in New York, Chertoff’s friends in the Mossad would have never been able to move the amount of explosive materials into buildings 1, 2, and 7 of the World Trade Center for their ultimate demolitions on September 11, 2001. Their reasoning is simple. If La Cosa Nostra was able to control every fresh tomato trucked into Manhattan and every fish that arrived at the Fulton Fish Market, not to mention every construction item brought into Manhattan, it would have certainly been aware of large amounts of explosives arriving at the World Trade Center in vans and trucks belonging to Israeli-owned moving companies. John Gotti may have been a mobster, but he was a patriotic Italian-American, who would not have dealt kindly with Russian-Israeli intelligence operatives and mobsters planning on the mass murder of thousands of Americans and other innocents in Lower Manhattan on 9/11.
Gotti died in prison in 2002 and Persico is currently serving a life term. One of Trump’s Atlantic City-Philadelphia mob associates, Nicodemo “Little Nicky” Scarfo, Sr., died of a sudden heart attack in the Camp Butner, North Carolina federal prison — known as “B’nai Butner” because of its kosher kitchen and relatively large Jewish inmate population — just a week prior to Trump’s January 20, 2017 inauguration. Bureau of Prisons authorities claimed Scarfo’s death at the age of 87 was from “natural causes.”
By a single vote, Giuliani avoided “sleeping with the fishes in the East River.” The East River is known as the final resting place for many La Cosa Nostra victims, who were outfitted with “cement overshoes” to keep their bodies from floating to the surface.
